Ruth Bader Ginsburg was born on March 15, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. Since 1993, she has been the second woman to serve in the US Supreme Court. All throughout her schooling, R. Ginsburg earned excellent grades and was very involved in student lead activities. Then once she graduated high school she attended Cornell University with a full scholarship. At Cornell University she met her future husband Martin Ginsburg, after they both graduated Martin was drafted into the army and Ruth moved to Oklahoma to be with him; additionally, she had her first child while she was in Oklahoma. Then the Ginsburgs moved to Massachusetts where she studied at Harvard and was the first woman in the Harvard Law Review. Now she still serves as a US Supreme Court Justice, at the age of 89.
